We had an amazing session! 🤩 Emily was so helpful. I feel like we did loads in the hour and it has made a huge difference to how we approach our dogs’ anxiety. Thank you so much! They’re exhausted now 😂x

Emily has been a wonderful support for our new puppy and our 2 year old dog, both of which are spaniel rescues. Her 121 puppy sessions have been extremely helpful in ensuring we set Herbert up to succeed right from the start, learning everything a spaniel puppy needs and training him in a way that is breed appropriate. He’s now 13 weeks and is recalling away from distractions in the garden and outside on long lines, settling well in and outdoors, whilst building a bond through doing this training with us. We’ve been attending fun gundog classes with our 2 year old dog, who needed some extra mental stimulation. Winnie has loved using her breed instincts and we’re also picking up lots from puppy training that we can use with her. I would highly recommend Emily for anyone who has a high energy, prey driven breed and we’re already thinking about booking more sessions in 2025. Thank you!

We first approached Emily in regards to our lead reactive dog Hector. Emily was so informative and helpful with her approach to help us help our dog. Thanks to Emily’s help and small tweaks we can incorporate in to his walks, Hector is enjoying his walks much more and we are better informed on how to help him with his lead aggression which is improving with every day. I would recommend Emily to anyone who is looking for a dog trainer/behaviourist, specifically in relation to reactivity. Thanks so much for your help and understanding, Jodie, Lewis & Hector

Where do I start. I have a reactive rescue that was used as a bait dog, Bear. E reacts to confident male dogs and men. We've tried numerous trainers that have made me uncomfortable in their methods and question if I'm the right mum for Bear. I felt so judged Emily had changed all of that. She's shown me how to learn with Bear and we've become a team. I'm enjoying walks again, don't feel judged and confident in how I deal on the rate occasion he does react now. I have a happier dog. I highly recommend Haigh Hounds.

We have had the pleasure of working with Emily to help our 2 and a half year old Border collie with real world training. We have struggled massively with lead walking and relationships with walking on a lead due to issues with fireworks and noise. Emily is so patient and a pleasure to have in our home. Reggie is so relaxed around Emily and his tail never stops wagging. Emily has given us so many tips and tricks to help us on our way to getting him more settled in his environment. Having a trainer quite literally in your pocket makes the world of difference and Emily is always on hand to review training videos and helping you along the way with any little hurdles. We are so grateful to Emily for how much she has helped us already and we can’t wait to continue our progress in the new year.

Emily has been absolutely brilliant. I contacted her to help with our 10 month Chihuahua Lando. Lando had become reactive to other dogs and some adults while out on walks. Just after the first session with Emily we saw a difference. She was great with Lando and instantly understood what he needed. She help me to also understand his body language and signs in his behaviour to help navigate walks to ease his stress so he enjoys the walks without being always reacting to the other dogs which pass by. The training and guidance Emily has given has enabled both Lando and us as a family to enjoy our family walks again.

Where do I begin to say how grateful we are to have worked with Emily. When we reached out to her for help we had a 2 year old Labrador in the depths of teenage anarchy. Going for a relaxing walk felt like a pipe dream with his lead pulling and lack of engagement. Add in lunging at dogs to try to play and you have a pair of stressed out dog owners who didn’t know what to do next. Cue Emily and her amazing positive approach and we now have a happy relaxed boy who walks beautifully on a loose lead and is working on greeting people to the house in a calm way. We honestly cannot thank Emily enough for the confidence she has given us in walking our dog in a variety of settings. I’m certain our training journey is not over but it looks an awful lot brighter with your help to understand our teenage Labradors brain. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

100% would recommend! We booked a session with Emily to work on our rescue pointer’s recall and selective hearing when out and about. He really engaged with the techniques Emily gave us and we’ve enjoyed practicing them with him. It’s made a massive difference - we’ve since managed to have him off the lead down the park for the first time.

We contacted Emily as our dog’s barking at home and reactivity outside with other dogs has been escalating lately. We had 4 sessions with the first session at home and the other ones outside in our normal walk and then in a totally different park. Emily gave me clear plan and easy to follow behaviour changing activities that we implemented and continue to work on. All the advice is backed with her observation of our dog, make sense and has made changes on how we manage her behaviour from now on. Our dog’s behaviour with all the training tips and homework has changed, she is more relaxed in the house with a lot of less barking visitors. But mostly walking outside and meeting passing dogs have been more calm because too I am more calm. Today after our last session we went to a cafe and for a walk and she was calm and showed no reactivity to the dogs around. I feel confident that we are finally using the right techniques to keep working on her behaviour and that are easy to follow by the rest of the family. We will have a couple of weeks before booking Emily again if needed.

Emily has worked with my now 18 month old wild cockapoo since being a puppy. She has just completed her group class where we dealt with issues such as lead frustration, scent work and being able to engage in training/games in the presence of other dogs without reacting. This has really improved out bond and I'm incredibly pleased with the outcome. I now feel confident taking my dog to busy dog filled places without fear of reactivity. Thank you Emily ❤️. Picture of ferral Daphne for context 🤣.
